    2. Do you have any idea what the initial W stood for? When was GW's approx time of birth and where? In the later census records, does it say where GW's parents were born? I have a Washington Kelley, born abt. 1840 in Alabama. First record of him is with his parents and siblings in 1850, Shelby Co, AL. Both parents were born in NC. I lost track of Washington after the 1860 census. ~Susan Kelley Fletcher -------------- Original message -------------- From: "Mike Kelley" <mikelley@localnet.com> > Hi, > I have found my ggf, G W Kelley, in Birmingham AL in jail in 1910 census. 3. Hi Susan, Thank you for your reply. I don't know what the W stood for. The 1900 census says he was born in Georgia in 1858, no info on parents birth. But the 1910 shows his father born in Tennessee and mother born in Georgia. I don't think we have a match. Good luck with Washington.
