I'm having a terrible time getting past this roadblock. Lawrence KELLEY was my gr.gr.grandfather. I can find nothing on him before 1870. At that time he was in Union Parish, LA. and had recently married an Ellen M. (maiden unk.) Stated age at that time was 45, birthplace was said to be NC. Ellen was 20. Birthplace AL. Subsequently 4 children were born. Lourena (never married), Adaline (married a RAMSEY), Wayne Ancell (my ancestor) and John. They moved from LA to AL and then to AR. While living in Faulkner Co. AR, approx. 1890, he came into the house with 2 other men, left with them and never returned. He would have been in his 50's by then. No one ever saw him or found a body. Ellen M. later married a Thomas O. Bailey of Faulkner Co. AR. I would appreciate anyone's help on this matter. Susan Kelley Fletcher
