Hey you Jan! Put your dukes up! How dare you assume we Irish like to fight? And do you want to see if Kelly's are warlike? -- then keep it up!!! By the way, My Patrick Kelly was listed in the census as Michael Kelly in 1860. His wife was Margaret Murphy. They were well to do and owned businesses including a funeral home. Son Daniel Kelly was a partner in Kelly and Leibes Department Store in Union Square in San Francisco in the late 1800's. Has anyone heard of that store? Patrick made his money in Champion Horses. Where should I look for clues about that? Was Bay Meadows around back then? Any hints from the War Like Kelly's would be appreciated. Thank you. Sorry Jan, I don't recognize a connection with your Kelly's.
