Colin Purdie Kelly, Jr. (b ca 1915, d 1941) was the son of Colin Purdie Kelly and the daughter of Florida Congressman Dannitte Hill Mays. C.P. Jr. was born in Madison, FL, and died in the Phillipines on or about December 7, 1941 during a Japanese attack on Clark Field. Colin Jr was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross and was nominated for the Medal of Honor. My father calls Colin Sr "Uncle Purdie" but I don't know how we're connected. My dad is uncertain.
