I've sent this info to the list before but never got any responses. I'm looking for descendants of William Joseph Kell(e)y and Julia Matthis, both died in Detroit. This family was Protestant as far as I can tell. They started using the Kelley spelling in Detroit; records from England are Kelly. They immigrated to Detroit ca. 1872, haven't yet found them on passenger lists. With all these kids, at least one other descendant must be doing genealogy!!! I do know most of the descendants of my great-grandfather Frederick William Kelley below. By the way, I had an article published in the Nov/Dec 1998 "Ancestry" in which I discussed grave hopping, and specifically mentioned my adventures finding the burial place of William and Julia Kelley above.
