    2. Hi Sue and All, You are very lucky to have these clippings, because they contain information that might enable you to pinpoint this Kelly family in the census. Since Howard Kelly was 10 years old when he was killed in 1908, he should show up in the 1900 census of Brooklyn as a 2 year old in the household of his father, James Kelly, perhaps even at 208 Halsey St. Also, knowing that the Beil family lived very close by may facilitate the search. I would use the Soundex and look for James Kelly as head of household, then I would try to find the family in 1910. Also, since you have the date he died, you might find an obituary for him in one or more of these newspapers, and that might give more family information. If you live near a large library, see the book entitled Newspapers in Microform. It may list early 20th century newspapers. Good Luck. Let us know what you find. Charles Walker
