My Most Wanted Ancestor Is: John Kelly,North Carolina:1786 I am looking for my ancestor John Kelly who married Hanna Moon around 1786 in Guilford Co.,NC. They migrated to Wilkes Co.,GA.,I believe in 1788. I haven`t found a John Kelly in Guilford at this time but I have found four in Rowan and multiple in Orange Co. One John Kelly received a Land Warrant,5/16/1755, for 640 acres on Double Creek, and Hughes Branch. " The plane to be returned in the name of James Anderson".This John Kelly is perhaps the father of the John Kelly I am looking for. There is a John Kelly in the 1790 Census, Hillsboro District, Eno area. I am interested in any information on Kelly`s in Guilford, Orange, and Rowan Co.,NC,1750-1800. Regards, Raymond Kelly
