Debra John Kelley (I know nothing else about this man) was the father of: John William Kelley Born:1813,Muscogee County,SC (I have never located a Muscogee County in S.Carolina, there is one in Georgia though) He died 12/15/1890 and is buried at Bridge Creek Cemetery-Colquitt County,Ga. He married Martha MABRY in 1837. Martha was born 1812 and died 12/17/1898 and is buried next to her husband. John William Kelley is believed to be from S.Carolina. He did move to the eighth land district of Thomas County,Georgia, which is now Colquitt County, from Alabama in approximately 1842. He settled just east of the present town of Bay and near the Thigpin Trail and was a large and prosperous farmer with his primary interest being in cultivated crops. Although he was too old to serve in the Civil War, he did participate in local militia drills. They had the following children: James Irwin-born 1838 Muscogee County Eliza Ann-1840 near Dothan,Alabama Martha Elizabeth near Dothan,Ala. Missouri-1843 Bay,Ga. Thomas County Harriett Emmaline-1845 Bay,Ga. John Thomas-1847 Bay,Ga. Susan- 1849 Bay,Ga. Timothy-1850 Bay,Ga. Saphrona(Fronnie)-5/1853 Bay,Ga. Missouri Kelley married Henry Murphy. James Thomas Kelley married Mary Hancock (daughter of James E. Hancock) on 12/2/1869. James died on 1/14/1925. Susan Kelley married a Mr. McClandon. Harriett Emmaline Kelley married Isaiah BARTON.
