I have found like many others of you my 'reference' material has been in error. Previously I had thought my g-g-g-grandfather was born in PA. I found in the Muscogee County GA 1850 Census he was born in Michigan. Sooooooo...... Now I am trying to locate anyone who has a John W. KELLY b. 1813 in Michigan who had three brothers and four sisters. 'Reference' states he moved to GA when he was 11 in 1824. He married a Sarah Caroline MARTIN on Dec 26, 1842 in GA. She was b. 1826 in SC. They had at least three known children. His occupation in 1850 was as a steam boat pilot. I apologize but, I have lost Mary Owen's e-mail.
