I am a direct descendant of Joel KELLEY, born Abt. 1775 in SC. In the 1790 Fairfield Co. Census were listed Joseph KELLEY, Joel KELLEY and John KELLEY. At the time of the 1800 Fairfield Co., SC census, my Joel and his wife, Letta, were married and had a young male child. On the 1800 Fairfield Co., SC census were other KELLEYS (Sarah, Abraham, Joseph, Thomas, John, Joel and Vinney). However, I do not know if they were related to my Joel. I would appreciate any information you may have on your KELLEY ancestors that might tie in to these. Also, my aunt has an extra copy of a book written about Joel KELLEY (ca 1775 - ca 1862) written by Paul & Alba Smith if anyone is interested in purchasing it.
