This inquiry is a little offbeat, but in my search for my illustrious "Kelly" ancestors am ready to snatch at any little bit of information that I may garner from any quarter. My grandmother always contended that our Kelley's/Kelly's were related to the famous clown Emmett Kelly from the Ringling Brothers circus, but all the info that I have been able to find has been very sketchy and non informative at best. If anyone can tell me where I may look for more extensive Genealogical info would be most thankful. By the way my Kelly's are ggrandmother Emily Alice or Alice Emily born 1880. Mothers name was Elizabeth Holder. Found in Du Quoin Illinois. That is about the extent of my information.
