Hello Fellow Kelley/Kelly Researchers -- I am trying to find information about my great-grandfather, Andrew Jackson Kelly (it could have been Kelley, I've seen it spelled both ways). A. J. Kelly (Kelley) enlisted in the 34th Regiment of NC Infantry on July 15, 1861. He enlisted at Lincoln, NC. He was wounded at Drewry's Bluff Virginia in defense of Petersburg. Subsequently, he lost his right arm. Following the war, he married Rebecca Caroline ???? and resided in the Rome, GA area. He was a farmer and Baptist preacher. They had children: Jane, John Henry, Elias Lafayette, and Martha Lula. Linda
