Hi all, I am searching for a William James Kelly (a g-grandfather) who joined the Union Army in Michigan and never returned home. In his wife's (Margaret ne Morrisey and later married Matthew Dunn) obituary it was said that Wm. James died in 1865. Margaret came to Michigan from Ontario, Canada in 1855, but I have not been able to locate either in Michigan. According to his daughter, Catherine, Wm. James was born in Ireland. I obtained what I thought was going to be the right record from the Nat'l Archives, but that one proved to have been born in PA. Anyone recognize these folks? Thanks in advance.
