Hello, I'm brand new to the "Kelley" list, and I am researching the following: KELLY, James M. b. 8 Feb 1817 (near Nashville, TN) d. 15 Apr 1899 Rocky Comfort, MO he married Polly RANDEL 1836, Perry Co., TN b. 1 Dec 1818 Perry Co., TN d. 8 Aug 1908 Rocky Comfort, MO Note: James M. Kelly was an attorney in TN, and later was a judge in MO. I have much information on the Randel's, but nearly nothing on the Kelly's. I do know, however, that James M. Kelly had a brother named Jasper Newton "Pete" Kelly. Also, Jasper Newton Kelly had a granddaughter named Lena Jo Kelly (Mrs. Alfred W. Glaser) who I understand did a lot of research on the Kelly line that I would like to find. Back to the family of James & Polly Kelly. The first 6 were born in Perry Co., TN, and the last 7 were born in MO (around the Rocky Comfort area). All the children lived to adulthood, and most were married in MO. 1.) Kelly, b. 1848 7.) Nancy Jane Kelly, b. 1850 8.) George Riley Kelly, b. 1853 9.) Henry Boone Kelly, b. 1855 10.) Sarah Elizabeth Kelly, b. 1857 11.) Mary Caroline Kelly, b. 1859 12.)
