Hi, My name is Vicki and i'm back on the group again. I had to leave due to a major move. During my move i have been able to add more to my line. I hope i can find other relatives out there. Andrew J Kelly was born in 1825, in Monroe County,Va. His parents names are Henry and Catherine Kelly. They all left Va. and went Northwest to Missouri in 1843. He remained there until 1846, when he joined the U.S. Army. He went to war with Mexico and was under the leadership of General Scott for three years. After then he returned to Missouri, then he traveled to Calif, then to Oregon and the Canadian Possessions for nearly twenty-two years. He did mining for eight of those years. In 1875 he settled in Prickley Pear Valley, Montana with his wife Lydia Dotson ( Douglas) They had a 80 acres of hay.
