In 1850, Tyri KELLY is living in Meigs Co., TN, with wife, Delilah and children, Polly Ann, Louisa E., Susannah C., James, Elizabeth, and Martha. In 1860, Tyre KELLY is still living in Meigs Co., TN (8th Civil District - Moores Cross Roads Post Office), with wife Delila and children, Mary A., Louisa, Susan, James, Lena, Martha, And? By 1870, Tyre/Tyri KELLY, is likely deceased as his wife, Delilah is now head-of-household and living in Rhea Co., TN (4th District - Sulphur Springs Post Office), with children, Louisa, Martha, John, and Catherine. I can't find Delilah (Nee?) KELLY or her family after 1870. Does anyone have any knowledge of this family? If so, I would appreciate hearing from you. Thank You, Lola

My brick wall is Francis Kelley who was supposedly born in Washington Co., VA (unconfirmed) in 1812. He married Mary B. Pace in 1834 in Clark Co., KY. He then migrated to MO, first to Callaway Co., then on to Linn Co. where he lived the rest of his life; he died 30 Dec 1886 and is buried in Linneus, Linn, MO. Francis and Mary had 8 children; the first 2 in Callaway Co. (James F., 1837 and Bluford Allen, 1839 (my direct descendent). The other 6 were born in Linn Co.: Emily, John, Dosia, Joseph H., William Worth, and George. If anyone has information on Francis - his parents, siblings, place of birth - I would be eternally grateful. The Kelley and Pace families intermarried three times in 100 years - my parents being the 3rd. Dear Robert: Your line does not sound exactly like mine, but some really interesting naming paterns!! My Malacki with brothers John and George were baptized in the Swedish Lutheran Church in Pens Neck, Salem County, NJ in 1740. Their parents were not named ("sureties were parents themsevels for lack of others"). Malacki had several sons one of them Jesse. Jesse had several sons, one of them was named Edward Sylvester Kelley. Jesse's older brothers were John (who died young) and James and another whose name I forget at this time. Malacki, when he died left an estate, and allthough it wasn't specific, a number of people owed him money, but as far as I could figure our he was a merchant of some kind. In his estate belongs was a number of shoe instruments. So had been thinking he made shoes for people! I never could get back across the sea with my Malacki has have not found his parents as of yet! But thought I would share with you!! That's my Barney. That is the first time he shows up in an American census, although he was in the States for most of his life. In 1905 he moved his family to Alberta, my grandfather James B met my grandmother and my Dad was born in 1915. If I could only find something before 1876 for him.
