    1. Sally Killey
    2. Hello. I descend from Sally Killey and Nathaniel Phillips (married 14 Oct 1810, Dartmouth, MA). I think my ggg-gm, Sally Killey is daughter of Patrick Killey Jr. and Darkis Chase, married 23 Jan 1777. Anyone working on this line? Does this tie in with the Cahoon line on list lately? I suspect Sally Killey died in Harwich about 1825. Anyone familiar with the Kelley cemetery in these parts? Thanks. JBirds4549@aol.com

    3. Please everyone put the state, county, and country if not the US on all postings as it is very frustrating to search through a list of names with no locations listed, or just the counties listed with no states. There are many states with same county names as other states. Thank you, Cindy

    1. Edward Kelly/New Jersey
    2. Nasir and Cindy Pirani
    3. Here is a second posting in the hopes someone may yet have a connection. Edward Kell(e)y born 1820 somewhere in New Jersey. His father was born in Ireland and his mother was born in New Jersey. I have nothing of his line before this or if he had siblings. He later moved to Mercer County, Ohio, married Elizabeth Poling, had four children: William, Emma, Anna, and Amos. Elizabeth died and he apparently married Elizabeth's sister. She had been married before. Her name was Catherine Sheets, and she brought four children into the marriage. Also living with Edward and his family was a girl named Mary Jane Fast whowas 8 years older than the oldest child, William. He grew up to marry Mary Jane Fast. They had two children, Elizabeth and Edward R. (listed at birth as Ruchus Edward Kelly). All this family lived in Neptune, Mercer County, Ohio until later years when they moved into Allen County near Spencerville. Anything at all would be appreciated. Cindy Pirani

William was born in England Jan 1825, parents were William Kelly and Ellen Bullock Julia was born in England (probably Greenwich) Feb 1831, can't remember her parents but I have that info at home. The following nine children lived in Detroit in 1880: Elizabeth (married to James Chapman), born circa 1855 Frederick W., born in 1863 [my ancestor--married Emma Ziervogel and moved to Illinois] Angus E., born circa 1865 Sophia, born circa 1870 (later married Peter Burger and had son Raymond born about 1891) Selina S., born circa 1868 James L., born circ 1872 Julia (can't remember when she was born) John (can't remember when he was born) Nellie (can't remember when she was born) [The last two names are from memory. I have more specific info at home.] Frederick W. married Emma Ziervogel (born in Germany) in 1888. They had the following children in Illinois (Chicago or Kankakee): Frederick W. Charles E. Walter Albert (my grandfather--married Grace Hawthorne Reynolds in 1918 in Chicago) I have been in contact with with descendants of both of Walter's brothers. 3. I have found like many others of you my 'reference' material has been in error. Previously I had thought my g-g-g-grandfather was born in PA. I found in the Muscogee County GA 1850 Census he was born in Michigan. Sooooooo...... Now I am trying to locate anyone who has a John W. KELLY b. 1813 in Michigan who had three brothers and four sisters. 'Reference' states he moved to GA when he was 11 in 1824. He married a Sarah Caroline MARTIN on Dec 26, 1842 in GA. She was b. 1826 in SC. They had at least three known children. His occupation in 1850 was as a steam boat pilot. I apologize but, I have lost Mary Owen's e-mail. I may have something for you on your William KELLY. Please contact me No matter what though I wish to thank each of your for helping me either locate the people I am looking for or to eliminate others. No matter what the 'odds' are with with us. Sooner.....or later the odds say if we eliminate enough people we eventually will come upon our ancestors.....Thanks everyone

    3. I have family history compiled by a Kelly family oraganization headed by Ira D. S. Kelly. Shows Joshua, James, Joseph, Patrick, John, Francis and Daniel Kelly all brothers on 1790 census for Pennsylvania. Land records show settlement patterns(adjoining parcels filed on on the same dates) linking probable additional bothers Moses and Isaac. Information re: Rezin is from personal account of Charles Spurgeon Kelly, son of Alfred Newton Kelly, son of Alfred Kelly. son of Isaac Kelly. Timing is right if James migrated to Pennsylvania that he's one of these brothers. Personal account (lacks verifiable records) puts Isaac, James et al as sons or grandsons of Rezin. Send snail mail address and I'll forward copies of the history. It's too long for my slow fingers to try and type. Marlo
