My most wanted Kelley is Patrick Jasper Kelley, born possibly between 1810 - 1830's (?), married Sarah Jane Warren, unk DOB, possibly from Virginia/West Virginia area. As you can see, I am in desperate need of finding further information concerning my ggrandfather. But what I do know is that Patrick and Sarah Jane had 11 children: Mima, Johnny, Sula, Edward, Harry, Nora, Ida, Jack, Buckie and James. James Edward Kelley is my GGrandfather, born 12-16-1869, Walla Walla, WA and died 2-18-1960 in Lewiston, ID. He married Anna Jennings, born 1880 in Lakeview, OR and died 2-1-1902 in Milton, OR. Born to James and Anna were two son, Ralph Edward Kelley, born 10-2-1899 and my grandfather, Roscoe Harry Kelley, born 9-1-1901 in Wilbur, WA. Roscoe married Mildred Beulah "Bunch" Huber, born 9-16-1906. They had two sons, Roscoe Harry Jr. and my father Richard Keith Kelley, born 10-3-1928. Keith married Alta Jeanne Brigham (she goes by her middle name as well, Jeanne) and they had six daughters, Debbie, b1951, Kathy, b1954, Jana, b1958, Patricia (yours truly), b1959, and twins Joni and Judi, b1965. If anyone had any information on the above, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks in advance, Patricia Kelley Robles

Hi fellow Kelleys (and Kellys), I am trying to find my biological father, Edward "Buzz" Kelley. The best information I've got is that he was born in PA around 1937, making him about 61 now. I was born in the Los Angeles area in the spring of 1963 - and as the reports have it - conceived in the vicinity some 9 months earlier. He most likely spent some time in the U.S. Army, had a career after his military service as a salesman, and goes most often by the nickname "Buzz." I'm not interested in anything from him other than insight into my Irish roots, and other family such as sisters or brothers that may exist. I would really appreciate any help you folks could lend - success in this search at this time of year especially - would be most cherished. Kind regards and happy holidays to all, Craig Schmitman aeropxs@pacbell.net

Janiece, Hi, I am not familiar with you Benjamin but I am researching KELLY's and HARALSON's. My grandmother was Hattie Maude Haralson married James Robert Kelly, they lived in Wayne County, Georgia. Hattie's parents were Kenneth HARALSON and Martha Ann ROZIER. I do not know where they were from but do know they passed away in WAYNE ( or BRANTLEY) county Georgia. Do these names sound familiar. I am willing to share information. My James Robert KELLY is the son of Sherrod Sheffield Kelly and he married first Charity Lewis, second Martha Ann Lewis Sherrod was born in Wayne County and I believe both wives were born in this county also. I would love to hear from you and see if we can make a connection. I have not had much luck with my Haralson line. Am looking forward to hearing from you. A fellow Kelley-hunter sent me an answer on a queri once, stating that all kelley's must be either enlisted in the secret service or part of the witness protection program, because there is no information on any of them! I am starting to believe it......... I got lots of Possibles and tons of Maybes, but no "Hey, thats the one I need".. I ran into a THICK brick wall on our greatgrandfather. Timothy James Kelley born about 1856, possibly in PA (His father was presumably born and married there) married Louise Wilhelmine Johanna Sietmann in Rhodes IA. She died in Marshalltown IA (b 7 may 1821 in Germany) and nobody knows when or where Timothy died..... Timothy's father was George W. Kelley, born around 1818 in PA, died abt 1878 possibly in IA and married Rexana (no last name b. 17 june 1813 New York d. after 1880 possibly in IA) around 1836 possibly in PA. I have no siblings names on either, or even how many there were. If any of this rings even the tiniest of bells, PLEASE let me know. :-) Thanks for "listening", and even if this doesn't pan out, I enjoy the list, and keep hoping that someday, somehow, the information I gather now, will put me a little further up the tree..... O.W. Rowland 1912 page 1128 Jame Kelley is one of the prominent farmers in Van Buren county. Most men will succeed better as employes than as employers, and that fact gives the reason why so many men buy farms and lose them, through their inability to systematize things and conduct their farms on a paying basis. The reason of the failure is not because they do not work enough, but they do not use their brains sufficiently. This has not been the fault of Mr. Kelly, who has made a success of farming. He found it impossible to leave the agricultural life, though he tried for a time, then found the call of the land too strong for him, and back to the farm he returned. He has not only been able to secure a competency for himself and his family, but he has done much for the betterment of the township in which he resides. The birth of James Kelly occurred in the township where he farms today, the date of his nativity being September 2, 1864. He is a son of Michael and Mary (Mahoney) Kelley, both natives of Ireland, who emigrated from the Emerald Isle about 1849, coming direct to Kalamazoo, Michigan, where they farmed for several years, and then traded their land for the eighty-acre tract on sections 7 and 8 , which is owned by James Kelly. Mr. and Mrs. Kelley, Sr., raised a family of seven children. whose names are as follows: John , deceased; Michael, deceased; Frank, residing in Oklahoma City; James, the subject of this sketch; George, residing in Dowagiac; Jennie, the wife of John Rapp; Anna, deceased. One child died in infancy. In 1887 , in the month of February, the father was summoned to the life eternal , and then years later on July 12, the demise of the mother occured. The boyhood of James Kelley was spent on this father's farm, and he attended the neighboring school. He learned to perform those duties which are required of a boy brought up as he was, and after he finished his educational training he devoted his whole time to assisting to cultivate the soil, remaining at home until he was twenty-three years of age, the year that his father died. He then determined to try city life, and went to Chicago, Illinois, where he remained for a year and a half. Eighteen months was sufficient to convince him that he was better qualified to make a success as a farmer than in any other capacity, and he returned home , under took the management of the old homestead, which he now owns. He does general farming to some extent, but makes a specialty of raising horses, cattle, and hogs, doing an extensive trade in live stock. In religious belief Mr. Kelley is a Catholic, and in politics he has never cared to unite with any party, preferring to vote independently and select his man for office, considering the qualifications of the candidate rather than party supremacy. Mr. Kelley is unmarried, and has many friends amongst his neighbors, who have for him the high regard which his uprightness of character merits. Well that is it. I sure hope it helps in someway for you to find your family. Barb --WebTV-Mail-1096812969-1736--

Dear Kelly Cousins, I want two wish each and everyone of you a Holy and Blessed Christmas. To Paula, what a wonderful idea your "Most Wanted Kelly" is. My most wanted Kelly(s): I would like to know anything about my Ggrandfather and Ggrandmother: James Kelly and Anna Murray They were born in Ireland. They had at least one son, William E(Edward?) Kell(e)y. Born Jan 9,1851 in New York City.(Within site of the Brooklyn Bridge, according to his obituary. But bridge construction did not start until the 1870s) There are rumors of other siblings, perhaps in Penn. My grandfather next shows up in Bosque County, Texas; in 1880, where he married Madora Wiswell, my grandmother. It would be nice to learn more about James and Anna.
