They had two children in Strom Lake, Buena Vista, Iowa. My grandmother Ruth Mannilla Kelley born 12 Mar.1898 and her brother Thomas Leroy Kelley born 21 Dec. 1895. Ruth and Thomas married a brother and sister in the Dutton family. I think this Kelley family lived in IA. moved to Utah then to Idaho falls, Idaho. I also think they were L.D.S. I only know my greatgrand parents names, I can't seem to find out much more about them. Our family tree is very short on the Kelley side. Any information will be helpful and welcome. Thank You.

    1. Re: [KELLEY] Floyd John Kelley b. 1896 d. 1983 - IA., MN.
    2. I'm looking for some information about my great grand parents. I seen your message about a Kelley family in IA. My grandmother Ruth Mannilla Kelley was born 12 Mar.1898 in Storm Lake, Buena Vista, Iowa. She had a brother that was also born in Storm Lake, Iowa. His name was Thomas Leroy Kelley, born on 21 DEC 1895. Their parents (my great grand parents) were John Logan Kelley and Florence Alena Harper. I have never been able to find out anything else about them. The Kelley part of my family tree is looking kind of short. I also know that my grandmother and her brother married a brother and sister of the Dutton family. My grandmother and he brother lived with their families in Idaho Falls, Idaho. I'm not sure how the Kelley's came to Idaho, but they mite have been in Utah before. Did Floyd John Kelley have any brothers or cousin ? I would be thankful for any help in adding to my Kelley family tree.

    3. Home Town Locator: Community Profiles http://www.hometownlocator.com/ Don't know the county? Use the State/City complete list (long). Click on a state, then select the city. The State/County selection is on the lower right. Click on a state, then click on a county. Next click on the town/city you're looking for. There are some very interesting links on the town page, including: How far is it from (town) to.? This link will give you a rough idea of the distance between two towns within the U.S. For example, suppose you had ancestors in two different counties and you want to find out how close the two towns were. Fill in the town and state for the comparison. The results will be "as the crow flies' air miles," not driving miles, between the two.
