We also thought the sketch was neat, especially because my husband grew up hearing about the distant cousin Alice and what a wonderful artist she was. Everyone in the FitzGerald family was quite impressed with her ability and very proud of her. I imagine Alice would be amazed to learn that the little sketch she did one day of her monther - oh so many years ago - is now available for the whole world to see through the wonder of electronics! As much as I hate to say it, it's really doubtful that we'll be receiving anything else about your various family branches. The person who sent the materials is about 85 now and he's probably sent everything of value. We do have the photo album, but it's too time consuming to digitize every single photo in it. I was hoping someone would recognize at least one of the people in the set I posted which perhaps could help us narrow the album down to a specific branch of Mary Kelley's family. I suspect it's more the Robb-Waller side, but can't be sure. Best regards, Ardra FitzGerald

The Kelleys certainly did go down to SC and KY, but the only mention of AL that I can recall is that one of the Hugh Montgomerys was captured by the Union Army near Danville AL, but he was fighting with folks from Kentucky so that's of no help to you. Good luck with your ancestor hunting. Ardra FitzGerlad

Rita Louk here in Kansas. I am looking for people researching ROGER KELLEY born about 1652 and lived on the ISLES OF SHOALS off the coast of N.H. and Maine. He married MARRY HOLDRIDGE about 1681 in Exeter, Rockingham Co., N.H. Especially looking for male descendants of Roger that are alive today. Would like to see if they are interested in participating in the Kelley DNA study. E-mail address is [email protected] Thank you

I do have some on the William, Sr.. I have more on William, Jr. and his descendants. My line (condensed!) goes like this: John Kelley b. County Armagh, Ireland (in which I believe Belfast is included) William, Sr. (1759 - 1841) William, Jr. (1804 -1843) James (1827 -1893) William Robert Kelley (1858 - 1918) Margaret Bernice (1892 - 1962) married Hiram V. Bowser (1887 -1977) Catherine Rachel Bowser (1932 - 1998) married Leo F. Heil (b.1929). The last are my parents. My father is still living. There is some very good information on William, Sr. in the Kelley Clan Magazines, published by James O. Stewart in the 30's 40's & 50's. You'll have to sift through a good 40 pages to glean little bits of info, but it's wonderful reading. Let me know what you need and if I have it I'll send it on to you. Thanks again

Hi list! Does anyone on this list have an ancestor originally from Nova Scotia named John Kelley, wife Emma Winnik? They were born about 1840 and lived in Queens County in the 1860`s. Thanks, Jack Kelly.
