    1. Still looking for parents for Jerry Kelley
    2. Jerry Kelley was born Aug. 7.1846 in Detroit, MI, died Jan. 17.1917 in IN. His parents, according to his account, came as immigrants thru Canada, to Detroit, then to possibly a place in IN, then on to Ottumwa, Iowa, where Jerry enlisted Civil War. We have war records. We have no identification of his parents. Interestingly among his children, first born was Lafayette, Dec 14,1873-May10 1890. No offspring. Wondering where that name came from, both Jerry and Lafayette. Then I read mention of a Lafayette in the Benjamin line. Was that only significant because of the Frenchman, or was it in the family? Still wondering if Jerry might be a Jeremiah, but the trail has grown cold. Do these names/dates match any out there? Shirley Kelley

    3. Beverly, I'm sorry, I misunderstood! The page indicator is at the top right of the "Search Results" list. It might say: Pages: < 1 of 44 > To get to the next page, click on the double arrows >> (in red...or reddish-orange color) to the right of the number of pages. You can also reverse the list alphabetically, by column topic, by clicking on any of the column headers. If you click on "Arrived" the list will be sorted chronologically--click again, and it will be sorted in reverse chronological order. The same is true for the "Age" column... 2. Anyone can subscribe to Heritage Quest by going to Godfrey.org. That is the other half so to speak of Heritage Quest. I have been a member for three years and find it very helpfull. Takes a while to figure out how to navigate it at first now that they have changed the format. I like the way the do the census. Very easy to use. kathy

    3. Pat, Heritage Quest now has all of its census material, digital book, etc. online. It only sells online subscriptions to libraries. Check with your local library and see if they have a membership. You must have a current card with your library to access the HQ site. If your city, county or state library does not subscribe then you can buy a library membership for $35/year through a college but for the life of me I can't think of the name of it. Someone on this list will know. Good luck! ----- Original Message ----- From: "pat kelly" <[email protected]> > I'm not sure what Heritage Quest is. Apparently a > magazine I'm thinking.
