    2. Raymond Kelly
    3. The Irish Heritage DNA Project is a very informative Project for those of us that believe our Ancestors originated in Ireland. FTDNA allows a participant to belong to two other Projects in addition to a Surname Project. Most of our Kelley/Kelly/O'Kelly Surname participants also belong to the IHDP. Many of our participants still live in Ireland. DNA Testing provides an excellent way to identify that connection to our ancestors in Ireland. Three of our participants have discovered that they are descendants of the "Hy Maine" Kelly Clan who have their Family documented back 2000 years. Count Walter Lionel Mary Gerard O'Kelly the current Chief of The O'Kelly Clan is a member of our Group. I invite you to go to our Website and find out more about these interesting Projects. < http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~kellydnaproject/index.htm > Best Regards, Raymond Kelly Kelley/Kelly/O'Kelly Surname Project Coordinator ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paula Kelley Ward" <chachalady@sbcglobal.net> To: <kelley@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, November 10, 2007 2:18 PM Subject: [KELLEY] Irish Heritage DNA Project > Whether you've had your DNA tested or not, you may want to look at this website. > The Irish Heritage DNA Project does not do DNA testing, but accepts DNA test results from any test lab. > > ************************************* > KELLEY/KELLY/O'KELLY Surname DNA Study > http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~kellydnaproject/index.htm

    3. Whether you've had your DNA tested or not, you may want to look at this website. The Irish Heritage DNA Project does not do DNA testing, but accepts DNA test results from any test lab. >From the website: "Anyone can join the IHDP, the only requirement is a suspected Irish ancestry and a set of yDNA markers. Most members are from FTDNA, but we do have a membership which includes many from DNA Heritage. We will accept membership from any test lab. Please be aware IHDP is not just about DNA we actively believe in promoting Irish Heritage and Genealogy, there are other services available on this website as well." "Irish Heritage DNA Project is not a commercial enterprise, it is self-funding and its administrators are Volunteers. IHDP accepts payments of no kind, its services are entirely free." 1. [KELLEY] KELLEY Family Photograph
    2. Shelley Cardiel
    3. I've "rescued" an old photograph of Tommy BROWN which was likely taken in the 1890's with Tommy appearing to be about 4 years old at the time it was taken. On the back of the photograph is a copy of his obituary stating "Little Tommy BROWN died at his home Sunday evening, Feb 4. Tommy had always been a grat sufferer. He was only 4 years, 5 months, and 9 days old. The funeral way condusted by Elder ILER from his late home on Tuesday afternoon. The remains were deposited in North Dover cemetary". Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding this family: Tommy G. BROWN b. 1889 and d. 1894 and buried in the North Dover Cemetary in Lenawee, MI Tommy was the son of Charles BROWN b. 26 Jun 1862 and Guelma KELLEY b. 11 May 1863 in Madison Township, MI I am hoping to locate someone from the family so that this precious old photograph can be returned to its rightful place with family. If you are a member of this family, or know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley

    3. The point of my KELLEY/KELLY email to Bridget was, yes do look for KELLY, as well as KELLEY, when researching in Ireland. In fact, my KELLYs in Ireland were also found way back as O'KELLY. The names are interchangable, as my family names indicated. They had their own reasons for choosing the way it was spelled in the U.S. ~Patsy~
