I connected with a "cousin" last weekend when I did a search in "unknown county" Oregon. Not only did I get the death date of Benjamin Franklin Keller that was the son of Riley & Harriet Miller Keller, but she called me to make sure that we were from the same family. Somewhere or somehow the family in OR thought they had come from OH. The Miller's had but Riley was born 29 December 1811 in NC. Benjamin was the 10th child of Riley & Harriet's which she said was her g grandfather and is my gg grandfather but we are only 10 years apart in our ages. When I found out what county Benjamin had died in then I went into that county site and asked if someone would look his name up. Not only did they look it up she called the lady and said that someone was trying to look her g grandfather from IL. To make a long story short, we talked for almost 2 hours trying to connect the family. I sent her all of the information that I have collected so far and waiting now for her to fill in the blanks on Benjamin's family. This all happened because I had reread Harriet's will and saw that there was a family member in the will that lived in OR. Come to find out it was not even Benjamin's family but a sister of Benjamin's children that must of been out there visiting. According to the will "Benjamin" address unknown.
