Hi Keller list: I am trying to find out the ancestry of the following set of siblings; at least I *think* they are all siblings: 1. David C. KELLER b ca 1820, a physician in Union Depost, Dauphin Co for many years m Catherine Witmer 2. Leah KELLER b ca 1827 (my 2ggm) m 1st William SCHULTZ b ca 1817, Newmanstown, Lebanon Co, d ca 1849 Children: Abner William SHULTZ b 16 Jul 1846 Mary Elizabeth SCHULTZ b 29 Aug 1849 (my ggm) m Penrose FRANK m 2nd John Jacob SCHAEFFER of Dauphin County Child:Anne Elizabeth SCHAEFFER b 1854, Elizabethtown, Lanc Co. 3. Henry D. KELLER b ca 1830, also a physician, also in Union Deposit for a while 4. Ellen KELLER b ca 1832 m Henry KLEIN (? I am not sure this was she - if it was, they had several children). All birth dates are 'ca' because I cannot find any of them being born and although I can find most of them in the census, they never told the census the same thing twice. Their father may have been Michael Keller of South Hanover Twp, Dauphin Co; Leah and her two Schultz children were living in his household at the census of 1850, after William Schultz had died. The trouble with this theory is that his wife Catherine, if she was his wife, and if her age is correct (a risky assumption), was too old to be the mother of these siblings. (Could Michael and Catherine be their grandparents?) Does anyone know any of these people? If anyone is interested, I know a little more but nothing conclusive.
