Dear Glenn et al, My heart skipped a beat when I read this post. You see, my husband's Christian F. KÖHLER was b in Germany. His tombstone says the birth date was 22 Sept 1837, but one can never be sure of such things, especially since he was young when he came to the U.S. Will you please provide anything that you have on the Christian Frederick KELLER that you mention?
