I've asked this before on this list but got no answers. Maybe no one of "us" knows.....but I'll try again. Do we know the ancestry or family connections to the famous blind lady, HELEN KELLER? Phyllis in Atlanta

Hello All-- Glenn has asked me to take on these 2 lists (KELLER & KELLAR), which I am happy to be able to do. Well, the term "able" may be stretching it. <G> But, I will do my best for you even though I also have many time constraints...the least of which being the fact that this is tax season. Some of you may have been subscribed to 'my' KOEHLER list before Glenn began these 2 lists. I am aware that some people who are researching the KELLER/KELLAR name have roots that are not Germanic. And, as you know some of them are. So, please continue to post either to this list. Those of you who know (or think) that your KELLER/KELLARs are Germanic will do well to also subscribe to the KOEHLER list, as it is the most active of my KÖHLER lists. I will not always be available to forward posts from one list to another. For those who have been with me before, please note that I have had to change my email address. (The old Starlink ISP walked out on its customers and owes me money!) Anyway, my new address is Aug67@worldnet.att.net -or, more simply- Aug67@att.net will also reach me. -Leslie(Bridges)Kohler: List 'owner'/moderator for Mo-Abstracts-L@RootsWeb.com MoCarrol-L@RootsWeb.com & GenConnect boards MoAdair-L@RootsWeb.com KOEHLER-L@RootsWeb.com & GenConnect boards McMURRY-L@RootsWeb.com TROTTER-L@RootsWeb.com KOHLER-L@RootsWeb.com & GenConnect boards KAHLER-L@RootsWeb.com & GenConnect boards KELLER-L@RootsWeb.com & GenConnect boards KELLAR-L@RootsWeb.com & GenConnect boards
Hello Keller/Kellar Researchers, Due to a sudden increase in my work load from my paying job I have to give up being ListOwner for these two lists. The new ListOwner is someone who you are all familiar with, Leslie. I'd like to thank everyone for their participation in the lists and also I would like to thank Leslie for taking over the lists. The following was sent to me and thought I would share it. Charles Paul Keller ========== After finishing up the two plat atlases on my Livingston County MI site, I figured I was on a roll, so why not tackle another project that had been sitting on my desk for far too long.... This atlas is titled the Gardiner English Atlas....printed in 1892. I think perhaps it may have been used in schools also as the index reflects that. Because this covers tons and tons of research areas, from Europe, to Ostfriesland, to Central America to the Netherlands, I have no clue as to what list to send it to and even if I did, I am not subbed to that many that I could accomplish it. If you could send this on to whomever you think it might help, I would appreciate it.... Also if you have a moment ...a message of thanks to our sponsor Charly Caldwell at ISMI (charly2@ismi.net) would be appreciated. The maps are really cool, there are near to 70 of them covering early England to Europe, the U.S., various wars over the span of history etc. They also have included almost 20 "maps" if you want to call them that showing various famous battles that have taken place over the span of history. These show the placement of the offense and defense as they lined up for battle etc. I was going to wait to announce this site until when I got the index done, but the printing is sooooooo small and the printing so smudgy that even when I scanned them and blew them up it near to blinds my eyes just typing on them for about an hour at a time, so it will take a while to complete the index. To get to the atlas you can click below..... <A HREF="http://www.livgenmi.com/gardinertitle.htm">GARDINER'S ATLAS of ENGLISH HISTORY</A> Enjoy! www.LivGenMI.com/gardinertitle.htm Pam http://www.LivGenMI.com Home of the 1895 atlas & many more historical maps & books http://www.ChaseNEgw.com Home of the 1891 Shippers Dispatch Gazetteer If you use any of the above or any of the hundreds of bits of information I have put on the net for you.....Your Obligation is to complete your "Hug Homework"!
