Woody & All: Both my cousin June Schneider and Ginger Reeves Joy had through the wills and the Somerset Co. MD Family history (Available in Madison WI Library) --- put together that the Mary below is "Mary Ward daughter of James Ward Sr. & Rachel Sterling. This is why I keep looking to the Ward and Sterling families thinking that some of letters or papers may have gone on with a first born daughter. Remember also from my other postings that This Samuel Kellam also married Prudence Vaughn..... We do not have any Ch: of this marriage. Samuel died in Sussex Co. MD 11 Aug 1786. The Aprox birth may be 1737 It could be that they sited how old he was at time of death to come up with that. Gingers e-mail is grjoy@juno.com Thus Woody, if you do tie into this in the manner above, we are connected. It would seem the selling of the land to the church your mother mentioned ----upset and split the family interactions. Ginger was hard pressed to read some of the names in the will what she made out as Jesse in one could be James. And then there was another name that could have been either John or James. I forward a lot of things to Ginger, but have not heard from her in a long time. -----Original Message----- From: Woody Kellum <lwk@engin.umich.edu> To: KELLAM-L@rootsweb.com <KELLAM-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Monday, March 19, 2001 10:02 AM Subject: [KELLAM] RE: Samuel Kellam Brick Wall >David - My particular brick is James Kellam.
