Dear JK and Firehair, As you may remember I have been researching the NC- VA- GA elusive Elijah KELLAM. I believe he had a brother William as well as others... however, in early NC records William and Elijah are recorded with land deeds. I believe that John, George , Job, Seth are either sons of either of them and or/nephews. I have tried and tried to connect these guys (c. 1750-60's-70's) in with the Rockingham group; however as of yet totally UNSUCCESSFUL. David Seth KELLAM is a name that runs distinctly through the GA line, (EVEN PRESENTLY) so I have always "hoped" that something would turn up on the Rockingham group. Just nothing yet. I do believe that the AL- MS-TX-MO lines are however related to the NC- GA-VA bunch. Surely wish we could confirm one way or the other how these lines go. It is frustrating to be going around and around like this so. I would love to have the lines completely figured out so that we could have a hugh family reunion and see the different lines. JK do you have any resources in SC. Firehair, I have posted and posted queries on the SC lines or connections and still have had NO responses. Love to you both, and I wish all a verrry Merry Christmas ! PS I think WIlliam and ELijah had a brother Moses and possibly Jethro~ BKS -----Original Message----- From: JKellum100@aol.com <JKellum100@aol.com> To: KELLAM-L@rootsweb.com <KELLAM-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Sunday, December 24, 2000 12:02 AM Subject: Re: [KELLAM] Elijah Kellam - GA>OH REPLY >Firehair; >I also disagree with you on Elijah of Ga. coming from PA. >Elijah's kin came on to Chickasaw County, MS. along with >other relatives of Nathaniel Kellum of SC and Smith Kellum >of NC and Accoumack County VA. > >JK > > >==== KELLAM Mailing List ==== >Search the Social Security Death Index online for FREE! >http://ssdi.genealogy.rootsweb.com/ >The most powerful SSDI search engine on the Internet! >It's a great place to add a copy of the obit or family history! >
