My primary interest in the Killam name is the family that went to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia from Massachusetts in the 1700's. There were a number of families from Massachusetts who went up there to take advantage of the free land being given away by the British. It was being given exclusively to British citizens to fill up the areas where the Acadians had been removed. The Killams are still in Yarmouth though my husband's grandmother came to this country as a bride. If this list does not include this particular name, please let me know.
