Hi Ron, Just saw your post in regards to the NC KELLAM's ... I have long wondered about this bunch and tried and tried to fit them properly. I have that George KELLUM fought in the Revolution out of NC. Either he or (a cousin by the name of George, or perhaps a son named after him) moved to Georgia. I have that George KELLUM is a brother to Seth, John, and Job and Elizabeth KELLAM Gist and Nancy KELLAM Stevenson. Hope this helps, Brenda Kellam Schilling -----Original Message----- From: RBul1865@aol.com <RBul1865@aol.com> To: KELLAM-L@rootsweb.com <KELLAM-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Tuesday, April 24, 2001 9:54 PM Subject: [KELLAM] Barsheba Kellam Greetings to the Kellam List: Does anyone have a Bathsheba or Barsheba Kellam in your data base? I looked at the 1790 census of Craven Co, NC, recently and found the following: James Kellum 1 0 0 Barsheba Kelleham 0 1 2 Nicholas Booty 2 0 3 I suppose that one of the three females in the family of Nicholas Booty would have been Rachel Booty, who married George Kellum on 29 June 1792 in Craven Co. I have seen the speculation that James Kellam above in 1790 Craven was the brother of George Kellum, but I do not recall having seen any speculation regarding Barsheba Kelleham, who appears to have been a widow with one son under 16 and one daughter. Does anyone have an idea about her? Can anyone place the location of George Kellum in 1790?
