    2. Tim, A quick note to let you know that Lenorah Killam and John Florea had ten children: Constance S., Fred Leonard, Dorothy Maude, Charles Jean, Hope Elizabeth, Clara Faith, Frank Elias, John Rosevelt, Susan Ruth and Bruce R. between 1890 and 1908. I will be traveling for about a week, but will check then to see what you need to know regarding these by individuals and their children, etc. Wondering which specific ones are your ancestors. Talk with you soon. Ruth Killam Harriot

    3. Anthony, I dont know if I responded to your email earlier or not, but will do so now. Some of the given names were Seth, Amasa, Winfield, James, Susan Elizabeth, Gideon E, and Marcus Henry. I have searched several cemetaries and searched land records, dont recall a Benjamin but I wasnt looking for one either. When I go back to Bushnell court house I will check for a Benjamin. 1. Re: [KELLAM] Elias Cornelius Killam's daughter Nora Ellen
    2. Tim, In my Killam notes I list a Lenorah Ellen as a daughter of your Elias Cornelius Killam and Susan Maria Hitchcock, but her birthdate is given as 5 Dec. 1866. I will try to find the basic source of these notes as soon as I can. Three brothers and 2 sisters are also listed. Is this what you are looking for? Ruth Killam Harriot

    1. [KELLAM] Elias Cornelius Killam's daughter Nora Ellen
    2. Dear list, It's been almost a year since I've posted anything, so here goes. I'm looking for the family of Elias Cornelius Killam and Susan Hitchcock. Specifically my gg grandma (their daughter), Nora Ellen Killam, b.5 Dec 1867. She married William J.H. Florea, 24 Feb 1889. Their daughter Dorothy Maude was born in Nodaway Co. MO. Nora d.22 Aug 1909 (I believe Nodaway Co. still). Elias Cornelius was a son of Oliver Killam & Betsey Gould (I have their line up, much on Betsey's also). I have found a Civil War Pension record for Elias who served in Wisconsin, and was in MO after that. William Endicott Killam was another son of Oliver & Betsey, so information on him could possibliy provide me with clues to his brother. Susan Hitchcock, according to an old hand written tree, was from Madison, NY. Thanks for being a great list. Tim Sherman TimDS1957@aol.com Portland OR

    1. Re: [KELLAM] A Killam to Kellam
    2. Ron, May I ask if a file called "Rodney's Ancestors" is your file? In there I found the statement that Zadock and Hannah Button Killam had had Phineas about 1744. My statement that Jepthah had gone to PA to live with his uncles Zadock and John was from my own notes, which at this moment I cannot detail the source for you. In further notes i have it that Zadock and family arrived in Pike County, PA in 1772, stayed until Revolutionary activities of July 1778 at Wyoming County (now in PA) forced them to flee for safety to Orange County, NY. They stayed there until war over and returned @ 1783. The Killam to Kellam file I found through the search engine GOOGLE. I asked for Samuel Killam. On the first page of response #9 "mary Jane Kellam Ancestors" is the file I mentioned. There are many Killams (variations) in their file. I am a direct descendant of Austin Kilham and am working at deeper roots in England, as well as other lines. Ruth Killam Harriot

    1. [KELLAM] Archives??
    2. Sharon Kellam
    3. I have a question of this list( and/or digest) and if you also know about other list(and/or digest) Are all of these topics archived? and are these accessible to each of us that are signed up. I belong to another e-mail group -- we have a discussion group. All of the e-mails are archived so that we can: I. access the list of topics, which in turn gives us: II. the exact number of the individual answer/response on that topic. It's really wonderful, as one doesn't have to try to save to floppy or zip all of the posts. Just wanted to know if the same set up exists on the genealogy postings within the various groups.??? If it doesn't exist has anyone looked into what's involved in setting this up for us.?? also, if it does exist, could someone e-mail me with the instructions as to how to obtain this information? Thanks! Sharon Kellam Boone, NC kellam@boone.net

    1. Re: [KELLAM] A Killam to Kellam
    2. Where is this file located? Did it have anything on other family members living with or near Zadock and John? Do you know for sure what the relationship is between Zadock and John? Were any members of this group in PA named Phineas? Where did they live in PA and when? This is very important to me because I have been trying for too long to find a connection to a Phineas Killam who owned land in SW PA in the late 1700s. Have suspected that he is a descendant of this same group and maybe of Zadock himself. If that eventually is found to be true then Zadock would be my GGGGGgrandfather plus making the connection to the Austin Kilham line which is well documented to England in the 1500s. Are you activley working on the Austin Kilham line from New England? Thanks for your posting this info and I look forward to haaving your reply soon! 1. [KELLAM] A Killam to Kellam
    2. Hello, Found one of these today which you all might already know. Anyway: Jepthah KILLAM, son of Jeptha KILLAM and Phebe Parke was born at Preston, CT. (For some reason he went to PA to live with his uncles Zadock and John.) He married Mary Lott and then I find his children John and Sarah, born 1787 and 1797 listed as KELLAMS and the KELLAM spelling continues on. I found this data in a file on the Hankins & Allied Families of Hunterdon County, NJ.
