Hi Ron, I have that Phineas was a son of John and Sarah Rose KELLAM. He had a brother Amasa first that died in infancy and a second brother named Amasa that lived. This is where my research most likely connects with the New England group. My Seth KELLAM had a son named Amasa. The the line goes on down Richard Amasa etc. here in GA. Seth KELLAM arrived here in GA from NC on or before 1795. Hope this points you in the right direction. I am researching a Phineas Killam who I think may be a son of the same Zadock as was the Moses you mentioned. This Phineas may be the oldest son of Zadock but so far I have found no record of his being in the Pike Co, PA area with Zadock and his other sons. I have found a Phineas in the extreme southwest corner of PA and he also owned land in what is now northern WV near the PA state line during the late 1700s in approximately the same time frame that Zadock and the others were in the Pike Co, PA area. I can give you specific dates and locations if it will help connect this Phineas to Zadock. Please advise details of your Zadock tie and any ideas or facts that could help in my reseach on this long term brick wall Phineas/ Zadock tie. Ron Kellems

The complete 1880 Census transcription is now available by mail from LDS at http://www.familysearch.org. You get all 56 CDs in a nice ring binder, completely searchable. And the cost is just $49, and there is no shipping charge. I've just gotten mine and it's an amazing set of data. (Keep in mind that if your ancestors arrived after 1880 it won't be of much use to you...) Many of the names are misspelled, of course (par for the course if you've seen census records before.) Hi group: Was looking in Swathmore Catalog search tonight and came across Thomas Aldam, (? Kellam) d. 1660 His sisters listed as Margaret Kellam and Joan Kellam seams to be 16 pages printed in London for Thomas Northcott 1690 The blurb indicates there is a George Fox Testamoney on page 2. The books status is Limited. Has anyone close checked this out? There was a Guilford Meeting House in the Accomack Va Lands. Hi Juli, I have no information except yours regarding your Lucy C. Killam, born 6/18/1814. The apparent reason would be that the information I have regarding her parents has come to me through another relative. That relative is is a great-grand-daughter of Moses A. Kellum, born 1845 in Ohio. Moses A. was a son of William Kellum, --- the spelling was changed somehow --- born 4 October 1820 in Pike City, PA, son of Moses Killam and Lucy Kimble. Other of Moses and Lucy's children listed include Daniel, born 4 April 1811 and Irene R. Killam, born 20 April 1813. The people who made this list apparently did not know of your Lucy C. born 8 June 1814 --- her date obviosly fits in very nicely --- and with the same parents.
