Don't know if Nancy has rec'd any input yet, but one thing I always thought would be neat (if I visited Berks Co) would be a tour of the area to view places we've had mentioned on this list: 1. headwaters of Manatawny Creek where Johannes supposedly staked out his "plantation" 2. the 'spring house' built by Johannes in 1733 3. St. Joseph's (Hill) Lutheran Church in Pike Twp, also referred to as the "Church in the Oley Hills" where many of the KEIMs were baptised 4. cemeteries where the early KEIMs are buried, along with Johannes's final resting place which some say is in a family plot on the Geehr farm at Oley line ____________________________ There are surely other places; let's forward other possible sites to see to Nancy <[email protected]> __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
