With more digging I found that Montgomery Co, PA, wasn't created until Sept. 10, 1784; it was created from part of Philadelphia County. So would these tax lists be found in Philadelphia Co, PA, records? --- Cindy Kimes <[email protected]> wrote: > > Montgomery Co, PA, tax lists begin in 1769 so this Stephen Kime > SHOULD be listed on them (IF his mill was in Montgomery Co). > > > --- Cindy Kimes <[email protected]> wrote: > > > > A Stephen Kime had a saw mill bef 1761. > > See: http://www.umstead.org/john%20nc.html > > > > Is anyone able to tell where this is located?
