    3. I looked in some resource materials and found a notation that Robert Wardel (Rev. Soldier) was buried in Hibernia Cemetery, Clark Co., IN (no dates). That would be the father of these WARDELL boys probably. -----Original Message----- From: Cindy Kimes [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Tuesday, January 17, 2006 9:20 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [KEIM] More descendants of Philip Kime of NC Ran across another mention of the names KIMES. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ On http://www.dentongenealogy.org/Lorenzo%20Dow%20Montgomery.htm the name KIMEs appears. Reading the information we find this child was the son of a William Gabriel MONTGOMERY and Hannah Catherine WARDELL. What "peeked" my curiosity was these folks lived in Scott Co, IN, and we've seen mention of a Hannah KIME JOHNSON that married a WARDELL and also lived in Scott Co, IN. Naturally I wondered if these parties were related, and a check of census data indicates Hannah Catherine WARDELL must have been a granddaughter of Hannah KIME JOHNSON WARDELL. The 1880 census for Vienna Twp, Scott Co, IN, lists: Thomas WARDLE Self 50 IN Farmer --- --- Margaret Wife 49 IN Keeping House KY KY Jane Dau 18 IN At School --- IN Amanda Dau 15 IN At School --- IN Gilbert Son 11 IN At School --- IN Washington JOHNSON HBro 64 IN --- --- The 1850 census for Vienna Twp, Scott Co, IN, lists Washington JOHNSON as the son of Hannah WARDELL. CONCLUSION: Thomas WARDELL must have been another son of Hannah KIME JOHNSON WARDELL and John WARDELL. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ It's interesting how these families tie together. [and hopefully all interested parties followed the above reasoning.] __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
