I ran across a Mary Kims in Philadelphia [PA] on the the 1860 census. Listed w/her is an eight yr. old female, Archimena Kims. The census lists her b. in PA but that could be an error. They appear to be living in a boarding house. Mary Kims age 28, b. PA. Someone sent me this tidbit some months back: From Belmont & Jefferson Counties [OH], Chapter XIX: History of Belmont County: Company B, 98th Regiment O.V.L. "This company was enlisted at St. Clairsville and organized with regiment at Camp Mingo, near Steubenville, August 22, 1862..." a "J.B.D. Keim" is listed on page 207 as one of the companys privates. _________________________ Doing some checking on the Civil War Soldiers and Sailors System <http://www.itd.nps.gov/cwss/index.html> we find: Krim, John B.
