From the Medford Mail Tribune, Medford, Oregon 14 Feb, 2006 Patricia "Patty" Helen Kime Peterson Patricia Helen Peterson died at her home in Portland on January 25, 2006. She was born in Medford on March 10, 1942 to Gerald Evan Kime and Velma Thomason Kime. She graduated from Crater High School in 1960. She was active, and a leader in Theta Rho in Central Point throughout her school years and afterward. She married Richard Sparks in 1962 and divorced. She married Paul Brown in 1967 and divorced after having two children, a son, Jason Brown and a daughter, Mrs. Marcia Brown Anderson, who survive her and live in the Portland area. In 1980, she married Richard "Pete" Peterson, who survives her. She is also survived by a brother, Gerald R. Kime of Grants Pass; a stepson, David Peterson of Portland; and five grandchildren. She left the Rogue Valley for Portland in the late 1960s and lived out her life there. She retired from service as a 911 operator and dispatcher. She will be returned and buried with her mother and father at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Medford. A memorial service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Medford at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 18th.
