    3. Believe you are correct. AND, it makes sense... the "LUM" from Co[lum]bus. Here's a compilation of data posted to the KEIM email list: HIRAM COLUMBUS KIMES, son of ABRAM PITTS KIMES, was born 13 December 1841 in Overton Co, TN, and died Aft. 1910. He married MARTHA SPECK ca 1874. She was born September 1843 in TN, and died Aft. 1910. Children of HIRAM KIMES and MARTHA SPECK are: i. ANDREW J. KIMES, b. May 1874, TN; d. Aft. 1910. ii. MARY J. KIMES, b. March 1875, probably Overton Co, TN; d. Aft. 1910; m. WILBORN PITAMOND; b. 1870; d. Aft. 1910. iii. SUSAN KIMES, b. November 1888; d. Aft. 1910. Census records state three add'l children were born to the couple but died before 1900. --- [email protected] wrote: > >From Overton County, Tennessee~Old Newspaper articles.
