Mary Lou forwarded these newspaper obituaries to share w/the list: "Funeral services were held on Sunday, February 2, for Mr. Samuel Irvin Keim, 67, who died the morning of January 30, at St. Joseph's Hospital due to a heart attack. His body was buried in his home state of Nebraska. Mr. Keim came to Spencerian College in June of 1961 as an instructor. He taught mainly accounting and mathematics. In recent years he had become active in the library as an assistant to Mrs. Grace Weltmer. He was born in Nebraska in 1902 and was a graduate of the Nebraska State Teacher's College. He also did some graduate study at the University of Denver. In addition to a B.S. in business education, he had also earned diplomas from both the Finance Forum of America and the Dale Carnegie course. Mr. Keim, of 2531 North 44 Street held offices in the Masonic Lodge and the North-Central Business Education Association." Another smaller obituary stated the following: "S. Irvin Keim, 66, of Milwaukee, Wis., passed away at a hospital there following a heart attack. He was born July 3, 1902 at Dannebrog, Nebraska, and followed the teaching profession all his life. Surviving are his wife, Merle, and one son, Dr. Willard Keim of Philadelphia, his wife, Chiem, and grandson Edmund... Funeral services were held on Sunday, February 2 at 8 p.m. at the Ritter Funeral Home in Milwaukee. Graveside services were held at Bertrand Friday, February 7." Her note: S.
