Don was my 1C1R (first cousin once removed) - my grandmother & his father were sister & brother. It was thru this list that we found each other - my profound gratitude for that. Grandma lost touch with her family after her parents died. Don helped me in so many ways with our shared genealogy. He not only brought me up to date on family history, Don also share family photos he had & identified ones I had inherited from Grandma with no identification. I smile as I write this, remembering how excited he was to receive a copy of a photo I sent of his parent's on their family farm of the 1930s.
