Dickson and Margret Yates, who married 4 Mar 1848 in TN. The marriage ceremony was performed at the home of Squire A. Kimes. Since Abram/Abraham Kimes lived in Overton Co, TN and was a JP/Constable during the 1840'a, it is assumed the marriage took place in Overton Co., TN. The marriage was witnessed by William and Mary Yates. In the 1860 Census of DeWitt Co., IL, the James and Margret Dickson family includes Francis Yates, age 23 and Madison Yates, age 12, both born in TN.
