    3. Yes, where WOULD we be without K & AF! Keim and Allied Families is full of clues, theories, family hearsay, etc. And more of you own copies now since the KEIM reunion special last fall. So, now that more of you have your own copy, I'm curious about a theory on Johann Peter Keim's ancestry. In the Oct 1900 issue, Peter, father of Nicholas Keim b. 02 February 1768, is listed as the son of Johannes Keim, the eldest son of Johannes (Hans) Keim, the immigrant (and Founder as DeB refers to him). If one looks at location and ages for these men, it IS possible: Hans's son, Johannes, was b. 1711 in Berks Co Peter's birth is listed around 1743. Nicholas Keim, b. 02 February 1768 in Berks Co Descendants of Peter state he was in the area and the dates fit together nicely, but I don't recall anyone ever mentioning this possible lineage. Is there information to dismiss this as the possible ancestry of Peter Keim, Nicholas's father?
