Hello to all Keim Listers, I am wondering if someone familiar with the ( George Keim born 1753 Harmonyville, Chester co., Pa. died 1836 in East Nantmeal Twsp., Chester co., Pa. married Catharine Schenkel 1757- 1838) line can tell me the parents of George and Catharine. Thus far, I have seen Johannes Keim 1675-1753 and wife Maria Elizabeth Bollerin . Also, I have seen Johannes Peter Keim1711- 1782 and wife Catherine Stump 1711- 1732. But, if those dates are correct for Catherine Stump then her son being born 1753 does not fit. I am confused. Who are the real parents of George Keim and Catharine Schenkel??? There was another Johannes Keim we've seen/read little about... one confirmed in the Oley Hill Church. Supposedly this Johannes Keim was confirmed and communed the first time on 16 Apr 1756, and was listed in the church records as: Johannes Keim, aged 19 That places his birth ca 1736. And with his name being Johannes, he was the son of a John/Johann/Johannes. So whose son could he be?
