I will try that. We have one set of relatives that are pretty posessive and we suspect anything we put up to replace them will be taken. even flowers we put up are taken and put on their families graves from our graves. I hope I can find some outside wood to make crosses out of to replace them. they won't let us put anything else up. Lori Chaffin <lorilchaffin@gmail.com> wrote: Brenda Lee, This is so sad to hear. I do hope you and your cousin contacted the police in the area and reported it. I know it won't help to replace what was destroyed but they might be able to track down who did it, and they might also be able to beef up patrols so maybe it doesn't happen to any other graves there. Another thought is to start a fund to replace the markers. This is happening for some of my husbands ancestors. The man that started the fund posted it to message boards and contacted people that he found searching the same family line.
