In response to Jo's statement that "this line is proved by the DAR", I am a member of the DAR and just started the research for my husband to make application to the SAR in the name of Conrad Keim, b. 1734, so I checked. George Keim and Catherine Schenkel are proved in the DAR records.     3. To clarify exactly what that means, Nancy... it's that someone has proven their lineage back to George Keim and George participated in some way in the Revolutionary War. RIGHT? But, said proof for DAR wouldn't state who George's father was, would it?
