    2. Well, somewhere I'd picked up that Mary Molly died in 1868, but I don't know where that date came from. From looking at this pension document, you'd assume she died between March 1862 when she rcvd her last pension check & September when her next one should have gone to her. However, I spose we need to consider whether or not there was another reason the pension might have ended - like maybe some obscure law, or someone figured out she really wasn't legally married to Stephen. He was, after all, the one who was married to her sister Elizabeth when they ran off to North Carolina together.
