CHARLES HENRY KIMES was born the 25th of April, 1897 in Arkansas the second child of ALBERT MARION KIMES and LYDIA EMMALINE NIMAN. He was known by everyone as Charlie. He married 1) GRACE GILSTRAP the 30th of January, 1916 in Van Buren, Crawford County, Arkansas. She was born the 22nd of November, 1898 in Crawford County, Arkansas to JESSES GILSTRAP and MOLLI HATLEY. Grace died the 10th of August, 1926 in Crawford County, Arkansas and is buried in Conley Cemetery in Mountainburg, Arkansas. They had four children: LLOYD JAMES KIMES GLADYS MARY EMELINE KIMES ROSIE MAE KIMES GRACE IRENE KIMES. Charles then married 2) BONNIE LOU WALLACE the 2nd of July, 1927 in Crawford County, Arkansas. She was born the 8th of May, 1906 in Crawford County, Arkansas to OSCAR and LONA WALLACE. She died the 6th of October, 1965 and is buried in the Wallace Family Cemetery above Mulberry, Arkansas.
