This information that I have on John Keim (born 1796) shows that he died in 1832 and information on John Kime listed below shows he was born in 1834. I think some of my information on this line came from K&AF and it may not be correct. Any corrections would be appreciated. Here's the info from the 1860 Elkhart Co, IN census: KEIM, John age 64 PA Sarah 66 PA Henry age 32 PA Nancy age 31 PA (Henry's wife, Nancy Alwine) John age 23 PA Eliza age 11 IN Elizabeth age 9 IN James age 8 IN Eve age 6 IN My notes don't show WHO was listed head-of-household, or whether they were in the same household. (Could be Henry's household..... looks like some of Henry's children.) I did note all WERE listed on the same page of the census - pg. 365. Noah Keim, son of John and Sarah (Blough) Keim, was living in Elkhart Co. in 1850, and John and Sarah's son, Henry, married Nancy Alwine in Elkhart Co, in 1849. The family was in the area so it certainly seems the John and Sarah listed in the census would be John and Sarah (Blough) Keim. Can I prove it? NO.
