Diana, I believe James Henderson Kime and Henderson Kime are the same individual. See the following note I made from a conversation with Francine Swaim of Liberty NC. She thought James Henderson Kime and Henderson Kime were probably the same person. She said D.I. Offman often used nicknames and whatever name the person casually used. So the extensive association of "Henderson" Kime with the Browers in the Will and the slave sale agreement and Rev. Offman's records of the marriage to Mary Brower it seems likely that James Henderson and Henderson are the same person. Last year I documented the birth and death dates for James Henderson Kime as b 11 Nov 1820 died 22 Mar 1896. He is buried at Shiloh Methodist Cemetery outside Liberty in Row 9. He married Mary C Brower and was the son of John Kime and Judith Tillery.
