I'm surprised to find that in these earlier times we find females getting married so FAR from "home!" How could that happen???? An example: In our branch, Catharina Keim, dau. of Conrad and Mary of Eastern District, near Oley, PA married in Berkeley Co, VA abt. 1780. WHY/HOW was she there?
